Camps/Seminars
Fencing Camps
NBFA's fencing camps are held throughout the spring, summer and winter holidays. They are a safe and inspirational opportunity to explore the world of fencing, no matter what your skill level. Come join our qualified coaches and trainers for an exhilarating fencing experience.
Our Introduction to Fencing Camps are a wonderful opportunity for children to discover the safe and exciting sport of fencing. Participants learn the basic elements of standard foil fencing: how to parry, attack and lunge. Activities include warm-up games, footwork, skill games, fencing instruction and bouting. All necessary equipment is provided by NBFA for the introductory camps. Participants will be outfitted in an official fencing uniform: foil, mask, glove and uniform.
NBFA also offers Training Camps for the experienced youth fencer. We offer camps in foil, epee and sabre. These are the perfect opportunity for fencing athletes to work toward their goals or to train in a new weapon. Our Training Camps focus on developing physical strength, defining goals and revitalizing the commitment to success. We invite qualified fencers to join the Training Camps, which are a key element to the NBFA Elite Competitors program. Even though we work hard at these camps, everyone has fun and ends the week confident of their capabilities.
NBFA offers Adult Fencing Camps upon request, determinant upon interest.
